Prosciutto, Mozzarella and Fig Salad

This salad is a recipe that I’ve used several times when I’m looking to show off my knowledge of cooking and im trying to impress company.

What you’ll need:

4 cups of Arugala

8 figs (brown or green)

4 ounces fresh mozzarella

2 tablespoons of honey

2 tablespoons of vinegar

2 slices of Prosciutto




Remove the stems from the figs and cut them into quarters.

Pull the fresh mozzarella apart so that the pieces resemble shreds.

Do the same thing to the Prosciutto, you can cut it if you want, i just felt that pulling it apart was more fun.

Wash, and dry the arugala

Mix the honey,vinegar, salt and pepper in a bowl, stir until combined.

For the recipe:

In a large platter, Spread out the arugala evenly.

Next, evenly spread out the quartered figs in a single layer.

I apologize for the blurry photo, I didn’t realize all of my photos were blurry until i began to edit them.

Now, Add the Prosciutto evenly, in a single layer.

Looks quite pretty, doesn’t it?

Add the Fresh Mozzarella on top of the Prosciutto, evenly.

Now pour the dressing we made earlier over top of everything, I try to give all of the figs a good splash of dressing.

Serve, and watch your guests faces as they try new flavors and textures.
